A September Letter

It is good to connect with you again. Thank you for taking the time to read my newsletters. I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on what topics you’d like me to cover.

September is one of my favorite months. Even in Florida, there’s something magical about the arrival of fall.

Even though there are more palm trees than maples here and it rarely gets cold, fall still feels special. The days are a bit shorter, the sunlight looks golden, and soon the flowers and bushes in my garden will start to show some fall colors.

I look forward to cooler mornings, seeing pumpkin-flavored treats appear in local bakeries, and feeling the nostalgia that always comes with this time of year.

I keep thinking about my recent trip to Europe. I hope you liked the photos in the Travel and Essays sections of my website.
